Year 2011 collection. “Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience.” Ralph Waldo Emerson
This tree no longer exists. After inquiring it seems this one was also attacked by the ash dieback fungus – in old latin; Hymenoscyphus pseudoalbidus. That fungus has affected thousand of trees specially in the North of Europe a couple of years ago. It devours the inner core of the tree and rottens the trunk which can represent a safety risk for the public. As they could eventually last a few years more it seems a trivial thinking by strictly chopping them down without hesitation but in Sweden they take the public safety seriously.
This photo represents a tribute. Future generations who will search for old photos from the park will most likely find this one.
