Rose Hip is the fruit of the wild rose which petals have most fallen even before the autumn arrived. Its seeds are very itchy if in touch with the skin but the fruit is rich in vitamin C. The British Army have used allot this fruit during the WWI to extract its Vitamine C rich to send to the war front trenches to help fighting the flu.

Rose Hip are good to make compote too, however the thousand torn army around the fruit make it difficult to collect. In Sweden is a very common plant and seen everywhere even throughout the winter.
