Year 2005 collection. “Nature always wears the colours of the spirit.” Ralph Waldo Emerson
I took this picture in 2005 in the city of Lund. Four of these beautiful trees in my former neighbourhood have meanwhile died from a fungus that has an extensive spelling – as usually is – in Old Latin; Hymenoscyphus pseudoalbidus. For those, like me, who enjoy a walk in the parks and woods without a Latin Degree this is called “ash dieback”. That fungus has affected thousand of trees specially in the North of Europe a couple of years ago.
