Year 2014. I have walked over these grounds for many years. I have looked at it many times. I stander on top of it in many directions. And I ever noticed the beautiful tridimensional effect until I photographed it with my camera positioned close to the ground, just the day before. This is Rossio, the main square of Lisbon downtown.
Look on the right side of the photography and you will see how deep is the 3D effect made by the design and laid by the stone-smith pavers. Look a little away from the computer screen.
The small limestone pieces laid in a way to decorated the grounds and with designs and effects are typically Portuguese but a Lisbon City icon.
